Question DW arms won't spray the water
Model Number: 587.15162400   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 1 - 5 years

Kenmore dishwasher fills up, seems to go through the cycles, but during the washing cycle, the water doesn't spray over the dishes. The water is not coming out of the top or bottom spray arms. The water drains. The only thing is that it just doesn't work during the washing cycle.

Did you hear the wash pump running during the wash cycle (about 5 minutes after you started the dishwasher). If you did not hear it then how old is your dishwasher? What is the serial number of your dishwasher? The first number after letters "TH" is the last number of the year it's made and the next two numbers is the number of the week. Do you have the "Use and care " manual book? If you do check the warranty on the pump. If it is under the warranty then call Sears, if not then buy a new dishwasher and make sure it is made by Kitchen Aid.
Gene.
