Default How to replace timer control
Model Number: DW711B   Brand: Jenn-Air   Age: 5 - 10 years

How do you replace the timer on the above referenced model dishwasher? Our timer knob is very difficult to turn so I assume it needs to be replaced.

Thanks.

Remove the inner door panel. Remove the control panel cover. Pull the knob out. Remove three screws holding the timer.
Assemble in the reverse order.

To find the right part for the timer I need the serial number of the dishwasher.

as long as you turn the circuit breaker off, there really isnt too much to replacing the timer.... the door comes off ( door panel ) and the timer control panel comes off and the timer gets unscrewed and wires / harness comes off...
