Ive been looking for an answer all over the Internet, but can't quite find anyone with the same problem.

First of all, we rent. So, we didn't buy this dishwasher are we authorized to call a service person.

The Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner dishwasher will not remain on when we start it. It doesn't matter what cycle we start: Normal, Low Energy, Heavy, even Cancel/Drain. We push the button, it runs for less than a minute then it just stops.

It has it's own powers supply controlled by a switch with the black and red reset buttons. I don't know if this has anything to do with it cutting off.

The serial is FJ4805194
Model is GU980SCGS2
And there is a possibility that one or both of those zeros are in Os.
