Problems with Kenmore top load washer
Model Number: 110.2494 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
Having problems with a Kenmore 110.2494 top load washer (made by whirlpool). A few days ago the machine kept tripping the circuit breaker. After some analysis I determined that the water control switch was creating a short when placed in the lowest setting. If I put the switch into the higher settings it seemed to work fine. So I ordered a new switch.
While waiting on the new switch to arrive we attempted to run a load of clothes and now the machine won’t run no matter what the water setting. It filled with water fine, but won’t complete the rest of the basic cycle. I can her it (a relay?) kick in, but no action at all. Suggestions are welcome. Thanks. Ads By Google Related Models
