Model Number: GSD4030Z05WW Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Found a large puddle in front of the machine and removed kick plates etc to check under machine. Ran rince cycle to check it and discovered dripping from around where the pump flange(?) meets tub. Is this a simple fix? The machine is included in the GE recall.

Most likely the problem is a broken seal inside the pump.
There are two ways to fix it. (1) You can buy the impeller & seal kit and repair the old pump (it comes with the installation instructions) or (2) You can replace the pump & motor assembly. In both cases the dishwasher has to be removed from the cabinet. - The part number for the impeller & seal kit AP631386 - The part number for the pump & motor assembly AP2616850 - Here are the break down diagrams for the GE dishwasher Model GSD4030Z05WW Gene.
