I have a Quiet Partner II that has not cleaned properly since the day I installed it. Originally we had a water-supply problem that was caused by the lack of an air gap, but that was resolved by correcting the plumbing. Despite the correction, the dishes have never come fully clean, frequently leaving a residue or debris on items in both the top and bottom racks. In addition, the basin does not empty completely at the end of the cycle. Pressing the cancel/drain button does empty the basin, but what remains is a filmy residue on all surfaces in the tub. Is this a pump problem? Could the pump have been damaged by the initial plumbing problem -- burning out the motor or some such?
