Okay, so my wife says this has happened twice (both times flooding our floor/ceiling - between the plastic tubing on fridge and this, we're not going to bother repairing our hardwood flooring anytime soon) - with the door closed and dishwasher operating, water flows from bottom of door (possibly lower side of door too) like a water fall (per wife). A repair person was called after first incident - he stated that he thought the float may have gotten stuck from food or utensil (NOT - my wife says there was no utensil that had fallen down and no food as our dog is the prewash) - second time it happens repair person (via phone) thinks it might be a bad solenoid (about $300?!) or possibly a problem with both the solenoid and float. Really like this dishwasher and its been functioning fine up till this point. If someone has a good guestimate of problem and it's a fairly basic repair - I'd like to do it myself - although, this now gives my wife the excuse she needs to purchase a new and "pretty" stainless steel dishwasher .......aahhhh, but of course, the other appliances are still white
