Default What part do I need?
Model Number: SHU9955 UC/12   Brand: Bosch   Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a bosch diswasher SHU9955 UC/12 (FD 8105 -)
Water is continously running into it.
Do i most likely need:
A) Water valve assembly - Made by Bosch for Bosch dishwashers. Part Number: AP3783031 made by BOSCH
OR

B) Water inlet system Part Number: AP2802392 made by BOSCH

Thanks in advance.

Kevin

Sorry about the red and blue ink, copied test from chat and I could not figure out how to change the color before my post.

What happens if you unplug the dishwasher for a few minutes?

Dishwasher is built in. I have not yet thrown the breaker on it. Do you think that would help? Water flows in regardless as to whether the unit is turned on or off.

Normally the power cord should be plugged into an outlet under the sink.

I will check that when I get home and post additional info later tonight. Thanks for your responses.

I have already ordered the:
Water valve assembly but I now think that I might need the Water inlet system instead.

More possible the control board, not the water inlet system.

Gene Thanks a lot!

It seems that you nailed it.

On Saturday, I was getting ready to replace the water valve assembly, but before I did, I flipped the breaker, and waited a few minutes. When I turned the breaker back on, and ran the dishwasher the issue had been resolved.

Thanks to all.
