Hi there,

Please help! I came downstairs this morning to find our dishwasher's "child lock" button was blinking...

I called Kitchen Aid and they recommended that I press the "Energy Saver/ Dry" button down for 4 seconds. I tried it for 4 second and even longer, but this did not help. I tried flipping the breaker for 1 minute... No joy.

Could it be the control panel that is causing this and, if so, will it necessarily need to be replaced?

What do you recommend I do? The dishwasher is 10+ years old (I believe)... I have had servicemen in to repair the same problem 3 or 4 years ago but I worry that someone will charge me $100+ service fee only to tell me that they need to charge me another however much for a new control panel or parts. Perhaps I should just invest in another dishwasher?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! :)
