Model Number: du8500xx3   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: More than 10 years   

I am not much on computer operation, so please be patient. I am replacing the pump/motor in the above dishwasher and need info on how the assm. is anchored other than tub seal ?

There are four locks (#26 on the pump & motor assy break down diagram, aka mounting support).

In order to remove the old pump you have to turn them to release.

- Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dishwasher Model DU8500XX3
