Ok.. I'm a novice so be patiet with me.
We have a GE Profile Dishwasher PDW 8480. I want to disassemble the bottom of the unit so I can remove the screen-like plate that the bottom that acts as the floor. I know I did this once and there was food caked on the screen preventing the water from draining properly. I want to clean it again but can't remember the process.
I can remove the baskets (easy), sprayers, sump cage thing (?), but then I get stuck as to what to do next. I know it comes out but I am afraid to force-remove any more parts for fear I am doing it incorrectly and will break it or make it worse? Any ideas??
