I've had my Kemore dishwasher for about 2 years. Recently the Normal Wash light started blinking about 18 times straight, hesitates momentarily, and continues the blinking cycle again.

I first unplugged the original board & plugged it back in & it worked for a week or so. But, then it started the blinking again. That little trick no longer works.

I replaced the circuit board with a new one. The problem still exists.

I tried another suggestion of toggling HI TEMP WASH/HEATED DRY for 5 minutes. Nothing happened.

I read also the it could be the heating coil or maybe another sensor. I haven't tried any of these as of yet. I wouldn't know where to look. Does anyone have any idea what I need to do to get this working again? I am totally stumped on this.

Thanks!

Was thanked: 4 time(s) in 4 post(s)
The LED, flashing rapidly means the control board sensed a stuck key or shorted circuit in key pad.

In order to fix the problem, the console has to be replaced.

- The part number for the black console AP3777661

- The part number for the white console AP3777709

- The part number for the biscuit console AP3777710

Okay, I'll give that a try. Another $120 down the drain. The part was out of stock on the link you provided. As much as I hate ordering through Sears, I went ahead & did.

I took apart the keypad to see if maybe some water crossed the contacts. It didn't come apart very neatly, but I was able to wipe some moisture away & get it to start for a moment. It cut back out after awhile. I babysat the thing to get a complete load washed, but this definitely is not the way I want to do my dishes.

Thanks for you assistance, Gene. I'll post back my results from the new part.

Gene,

Thanks again for the assistance. Replacing the panel resolved my issue. I was hoping for a less expensive option, but I can wash dishes once again.
