Dishwasher Repair

dishwasher doesnt clean good. seems not enough pressure to spin upper arm. if i open door during wash cycle, lower arm was spinning but upper arm doesn't move and water just trickles out of it. have cleaned pump screens.
suggestions appreciated.

Have you cleaned the pump filter and the rinse arm assembly (#6 & #7 on the diagram)?

Yes, thanks. I have removed and cleaned 6 & 7 and inspected the pump impeller. There was a little lime on them. Cleaned them but the top spray arm still doesn't spin. Is there anything in the hose (valve etc) between the pump and the top spray arm that could be goofed up? I haven't pulled the unit from under the counter to physically check the hose.

There is nothing in the upper spray arm hose. Check the water level. Make sure the upper spray arm is completely open and check the hose.
