Default Whirlpool pump replacement
Model Number: GU2500XTP   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years   
Unit has a warrantee for parts only. It needs the pump replaced. How difficult is this to do? They want $150 dollars for labor which seems excessive. It already cost $80 for the initial visit.

Is there anything secureing the pump to the tub other than the tub seal?

There are three latches under the dishwasher.
You should see everything after you remove the dishwasher from the cabinet.

Be aware this is not very simple job.
