Most likely the problem with your dishwasher caused by the clogged pump housing filter (#6 on the pump & motor break down diagram) and the rinse arm (#7 on the pump & motor break down diagram).
To get access to these parts you have to remove the lower wash arm and the cover. - Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag dishwasher Model MDB9100AWW Gene.
