Model Number: PDW7880J03SS Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
From time to time my GE Profile dishwasher will stop drawing water at the start of the cycle. I used to believe this was caused by a kink in the water hose under the unit. I would pull the unit out from under the counter, move the water line around and then push the unit back into place. This "high tech" approach worked as the unit would function normally again. After a number of months the same problem would happen again and I would have to repeat the "fix."
However, this time my fix is not working. The unit still does not draw water when starting the cycle. I checked the float and it seems to be fine (it is still moving up and down and does seem to be stuck) and now I think it may be the water inlet valve. I am wondering if some connection might be loose as my moving the unit in the past seemed to fix the problem. Any thoughts? Thanks!! Ads By Google Related Models |
