Dishwasher won't wash

Model Number: Quiet Partner III Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years

I hear and water running and see water in the tub when I open the door, but the unit isn't washing. The detergent conatiner opens but it doesn't look like it is being used. Problem started about a week ago. Don't know how to take apart lower portion of wash module. Figure maybe there is a clog? Sounds like motor is running.
