Model Number: DU940QWDB3 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Thanksgiving morning the dishwasher ceased working - water no longer flows in. The LEDs on the panel all work normally. The heater element still warms. I changed the water inlet valve - still no action. I've run diagnostics - the display lights change, but nothing happens in terms of filling, draining, etc. I have 110 AC voltage at the door switch. Even during diagnostics I found no voltage at the water inlet valve when diagnostics said it should be activated. The float switch clicks nicely and is not jammed. Does the lack of AC voltage at the water inlet valve and float switch indicate failure of the control board? Anyway to test the control board to verify it is the problem?
