loud noise at beginning and now nothing
Model Number: 15872000 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
I started up our dishwasher and after a minute or two was a loud POP and the breaker was thrown. Every time I reset the breaker it just instantly throws back. There also was a burnt electrical smell at the dishwasher when this happened. I open it up and there was about 2 inches of water on the bottom and now i can not power it up due to the breaker will not stay reset. Ant suggestions on where to start would be great.

Power
make sure your power is off. then take bottom panels off. their is a little box where your incomung power hooks to the dishwasher. check that for a bad connection. then look over your wiring for any thing that looks like it got hot.
