I have a Bosch 6805U06 dishwasher that is overflowing through the "water inlet system" manifold water supply vent during the fill cycle. The overflowing water collected in the base and caused the float to shut it down. I have removed the water from the base clearing the fault. I have removed the dishwasher from the cabinet, removed the left side panel and connected temporary water supply and power so I can see the problem. The unit functions perfectly other than the vent overflow. To keep it from overflowing during the fill cycle the isolation valve must be nearly closed to slow the supply water flow.

I have checked the resistance of the level switch, float and flow sensor and all are normal. I have run the "test progam" succesfully with no faults. I have watched the unit successfully complete all cycles; fill, drain, wash, heat, rinse, etc.

Help Please, Steve

For those of you who are having this problem, I have found the solution. Although the water inlet valve was functioning it was allowing too much water flow into the dishwasher. I replaced the inlet valve and the dishwasher works like new.

Where is the water inlet valve? I'm having a very similar issue (I posted separately, with a pic). Would lowering the pressure at the supply (under the sink) help, at least to see if this is the issue?
