Default Detergent Cup no longer locks into place
Model Number: GSD600D-03   Brand: GE   Age: More than 10 years

Can you please tell me what replacement parts I will need to fix a detergent cup that no longer locks into place on the GE GSD600D-03? From what I can tell, the cup cover is fine but the spring and the locking mechanism inside the d/w are shot.

I believe that I need a new spring, possibly a new cup shaft, and I also think I need another part that turns and locks into place inside the d/w? Can you please confirm and offer any suggestions/advice on replacing?

Thanks for your help!

Jon
