Model Number: GSD4930Z04WW Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
My dishwasher (GE Profile) does not completely drain. I know some water needs to stay in to keep the seals moist. However we have two inches of water that remains which is above the heating element so the dishes do not dry. I have checked the hoses and everything is clear. I watch the water drain and it is at full pressure all the way down the sink drain, no back-up problems. The motor is running. Is there a timer that might be malfunctioning that shuts down the draining too early? Any other ideas? Selenoid?
