I have unfortunately become aware that my Bosch SHU43C02uc/22 dishwasher has a common and chronic problem for these products - a control board lead degrades because the relay supporting the temp sensor is not adequate causing the solder joint to fail. I would like to order a new board, #445925 but FIRST need to affirm that the board is afflicted with this problem. To confirm the solder joint failure. I need to open the plastic cover on the control module, which I have now exposed. I see the part on your website but I can't figure out where the release points on the cover are. They sure don't make it easy and I don't want to force it. Can anyone please advise me how to remove the cover so I can inspect and order the part?

Hello, did you receive any information to the control board problem? I have the same dishwasher with the exact same problem. So frustrating as this should have been a fix by Bosch...anyway. Please let me know what you found out if anything.

Hi,i work for bosch as a sub contractor and for a while we where changing out
these controls under a recall. you should call your serial number into bosch and ask if your covered under recall.

Hello, thanks for the information. I looked up the model number which is SHU432UC/22, FD8506. When I called the hotline, they said my model was not in the recall. My old GE was 13 years old and ran like a champ for 13 years with no service calls. I was stupid to purchase this Bosch from a couple who told me it worked great...so much for honesty. I also looked up the part number and it looks like the control panel is about $100 bucks...so with the service charge I am guessing this will be about a $200 fix. I really do not want to put any money in this unit...I am hoping to find a service person who has reasonable rates and is trustworthy. Hard to find these days. Thanks again for your post.
