I bought a used dishwasher and used Goof Off to try and get all the paint and crud off the control panel. Well, I ruined it. It ate the surface and left marks. I was going to order a new one. When I looked up the part, I thought I would order the Panel #AP4362595. Then I saw the Insert #AP3778125 which is actually what I think I need. I called to ask them which part I should order. They said post in the forum.
I don't see anyway possible for this insert to come out of the panel. I have tried to seperate them. It looks like this was made as one piece.
Does anyone know which part I should order? Do these two pieces come apart? If so, how do you get them apart? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
