Model Number: SHX46A05UC Brand: Bosch Age: 1 - 5 years
We never had a issue with this machine before. Wife ran the DW Thurs night, woke up at 4:00 and smelled a burning electrical type smell. I pulled off the front panel and kick plate to look around, smell seems to be coming from the bottom of the unit. I sniffed around the control module but it didn't seem to have any burnt type smell. Breaker is off, and I bailed out most of the water that was left in the bottom. Not sure if I should dig further into it towards the bottom to see if there are any noticeable fried electrical connections or not. Everything seems fine in the connection box up front. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
