Maytag Dishwasher Won't stay running
Model Number: MDB5000AWW Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
My dishwasher will not stay running. If I push on the door it will start. Sometimes it will keep running for a full cycle other times you may have to push on the door.
I believe it is the door switch that needs to be replaced. Can someone confirm my thoughts?? Thank you Ads By Google Related Models

You are correct. Either one of the door switches is failing, or the handle or switch mount is cracked and no longer making good contact. You will need to open the control panel to check it out first hand.
