The handle/latch on the dishwasher needs to be replaced. Can I do this job myself with ease or should I hire a technition? My husband is pretty handy. Thank you.

You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer.

I can see no reason why you cannot do this just take your time.

Hardest part sometimes is getting the wires off the switches.
Do not pull on the wires always use the connectors.
If you have a stubborn one take a flat screwdriver, place it between the connector and the switch body. Then twist it to force the connector back off the switch. You may have to do this working back and forth from side to side.
