Draining problem

Model Number: GSD3800G00WW Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years

My GE dishwasher dosent drain properly, I have checked the hose for gunk and replaced the check valve. After the last rinse cycle I do not hear it drain, I hear it at other times. What would make it skip the last drain? it is a GE model #GSD3800G00WW
