correction to model number
Model Number: 665-17772990 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years

Did any light on the control panel were blinking? Did you hear any unusual noises prior to the dishwasher stopped? Gene.

Most likely the problem with your dishwasher is a stuck pad on the key pad. In order to fix it the console has to be replaced.
