The washer works fine but when it reaches the spinning cycle it makes a very loud noise. I called a GE repair mechanic that told me that the drum attachment broke and it was very expensive the repair, he said that it was better to buy a new washer.??? Is this repair that expensive? The washer is in very good condition, not one sign of rust. Do I through it away?
