The dishwasher seems to work, but dishes come out streaked, not always clean, and with a whitish residue. A repairman inserted a bottle of Magic and felt this should alleviate the problem, but after one or two cycles the problem returned. I repeated this several times, using Jetdry dishwasher cleaner, but there is no improvement. Help!

Jet Dry is not a cleaner. It helps to improve drying and nothing else. I would recommend to use the instructions from one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...g-element.html#post37989

actually I am using not the rinsing agent by JetDry, but their dishwasher cleaner.

But I am ver happy to have your suggestions and will follow up right away. Thank you so much for your prompt reply!
