My diskhwasher does not run . "CLEAN" continually blinks. I am not able to get any responce at all. I had the key pad replaced a couple years ago - could this be the issue again? Any help would be appreciated!!

When I push "Normal" to start wash, the 2,4,8, Delay Hours, Normal, Soak & Scour, Rinsing, and Drying indicators light up and nothing happens. After about a minute, they all go out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

Jim,

Make sure both door switches are good and are engaged properly when the door is closed.

Blinking clean light indicates a problem with the heating cycle. To reset your board toggle between your hightemp and heat dry option buttons. This will put the board into a diagnostic sequence(all led's lit). Allow the diagnostic cycle to finish. Use your dw again. If problem reoccurs test element for continuity. If good replace control board

I made sure the door latch was closed and locked. Press "Normal" and the LED's light up again. Ran diagnostic (toggle between "High Temp" and "Air Dry" and it seem to progress through several steps then everything stopped and all lights went out. Push "Normal" again and the same thing happens. Any tips to try now?
Thanks, Jim

Jim,

Most likely the problem is a bad key panel which comes as a part of the control panel but there is a small chance for the control board to be bad as well. I would order both parts and install the control panel first. Unneeded part (even if it was installed) can be return later if you ordered it from Appliance Parts Pros.

If you need the correct part number for the control panel, post the color of it.

- The control board Part number: AP3775964
Part number: AP3775964
