GE Profile-Upset Wife...Need Help
Model Number: GSD5330 Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Hi -
New to the forum and in need of some guidance. My wife is currently washing the dishes by hand. Not good. My GE Profile dishwasher will not even light up when the door is closed and the latch is set. I am now convinced that the last cycle run stopped on the last rinse cycle as there was water in the tub. I shop vac'd it out and cleaned the pump suction of junk, but now the dishwasher will not even come on. I have tried killing the power through the circuit breaker in hopes of resetting the unit electrically with no luck. Also, the detergent cup will not close. Is this a sign that the cycle did not finish last time? Is the control board dead? Any thoughts/guidance would be greatly appreciated. I would not be real excited about having to pruchase a new unit.
