installing cup rack clips on upper dishwasher rack
Model Number: GU980SCGQ3 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
I ordered replacement clips for the upper dishwasher rack cup rack. The clips have the same part number as the original Whirlpool part (8268817) but are much smaller in size than the clips I am replacing (2 of the 4 original clips have broken). The new clips will not "straddle" the upper rack wire that runs from front to back because the caliper of the wire is too large for this smaller size clip. Is there another way to install them other than the way the old clips were installed?
