I have replaced every part in control panel parts list except a bimetal part. No lights when I press the cycle buttons. I have replaced the control board, the door switches. What else could be making this not work? I thought I would check here before i but the bimetal part. Thanks a million!

Here is your parts breakdown
Model GU2200XTSQ2

Here is the tech sheet
https://www.servicematters.com/d...heet%20-%20W10130990.pdf

Tech sheet gives a lot of info on what components are in a circuit path.
Check the bi-metal before replacing.

You will need a meter. If you do not have one I would suggest you purchase one. You can get a decent digital multimeter for under $20.00. You do not need fancy though it is nice if the leads are a couple feet long.
If it saves ordering one unnecessary part it has paid for itself and you end up owning a useful tool.
Most places will not let you return electrical parts so if you order it, you own it.
A couple things to watch when measuring ohms and continuity
1. Always remove power from the machine otherwise you could blow your meter.
2. Always disconnect at least one side of any device you are checking. This eliminates the possibility of measuring an alternate/parallel circuit path.
3. When checking for closed contacts and continuity use the lowest scale (Usually 200 ohms). Then try higher scales. This scale is 0 to 200 ohms so if the device you are measuring is 300 ohms this scale would show an open circuit which it is not, you are just measuring outside the scale's dynamic range.

There is a good STICKY at the start of this forum about it's use.

:confused:I checked continuity on the bi-metal and it shows a closed condition or short. Sill confused on why I cannot get any response from it. I looked over the tech sheet also. Am I missing a part to check a fuse perhaps? Thank you.

From what I can see there is only the door switches and the bi-metal.

I would tape a towel or garbage bag over the dishwasher opening, just in case the unit starts up. You do not want to get wet.
Remove the doors inner liner
With power off manually activate both switches to make sure they do close.
Then turn power back on and manually close both switches.
Does the unit now power up?
This is just a double check.

If it does not
Remove power from the unit and disconnect the keyboard from the control board.
Apply power
The drain motor should run
This procedure procedure is on Page 2 on the tech sheet "CHECKING KEYPAD OPERATION"
