Model Number: du1100xtps1   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years   
Basically...my dishwasher is doing this:

Quiet Partner II stuck on "Lock" - Appliance Blog Forums

It seems to be the control panel. I'd like to know if this part is still under warranty and my options.

Your dishwasher made in 2004 and the limited manufacturer warranty on the electronic controls is 5 years.

Great! Since i purchased this house from another person, how do i go about getting the replacement part since the warranty is not under my name?

Just tell them it came with the house and they will go by the manufacturing date.
Check the labor charge to replace the part. Some time is chipper to by the part and do it yourself.

Thanks Gene. Yeah, they said it would be $59.95 just to come out...with labor i'm sure it's more than the part. Can i purchase from you guys?

In order to provide the most accurate information I need the color of the control panel not the door.

I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II model #DU948PWKQ1 Serial #Fp3413772 type #280-2. It is stuck on "locked". I have no owners manual what can I do? Will not turn on - please help with any info you can give me.
