I've got a Ge profile d/w that is now filling, pausing for a few minutes, then draining. It appears to be skipping the wash cycle. Any thoughts?

More observation shows that it seems to be pumping water during wash cycle but not turning the arms. Very weak and drippy sounding during this period. Soap does not dissolve.

I, too, have a GE (QuietPower 3), and it is filling, then a few moments pass, and it drains. No washing, no spinning, no arm movement that I can tell. Dishes are dirty and hot at end of cycle, soap is stuck to door and first few dishes on bottom rack. Terribly frustrating. We were advised to shut off circuit breaker for about 30 mins to "reset the brain," and that worked once or twice, then not again. Had it serviced by a local appliance repair person, and he cleaned out drains, arms, etc....and it seemed to work....twice! Now it is doing the fill/drain thing again. Anyone have any idea what is wrong, and/or how to fix it? My Model # is : GE QuietPower 3, # GLD5750N10CS
