Our Samsung dishwasher makes a rattlin noise periodically when it is pumping water either out or in. I have found out that is is probably some plastic peices from the upper tray that have been captured in the area where the drain hose hooks to.
But before knowing this, I took apart the housing below the bottom rotating spray bar. Now the 2 O-rings in that assembly will not go back in the groove because they seem to be stretched.
What do I do? Is there a secret trick to getting the O-rings to seat in the groove, or do I just need new O-rings. I called the parts department of this site, and they can't find the part numbers!
Again, this is the pump housing below the lower spray bar. The top part with the screen has an O-ring, and the bottom part which is the top of the pump has an O-ring.
