Dishwasher Repair

I cannot ascertain model number because the door latch has become loose and the door is locked shut and cannot be opened. The control panel says "Whisper Quiet" It is an under counter model. There is no access to the latch, which is behind the control panel. Is there some way to get at the mechanism at the latch location?

Jam a butter knife in the latch top between the metal part and the plastic latch part, should release.
