New to this dishwasher thing. I have a loud whining (whirring) sound only in the wash mode. Through extensive research, I do believe its the wash motor. (please correct me if I am wrong) However, my other concern is that while looking at schematic breakdowns of this thing, I never seem to find out how to remove the wash pump motor only from the sump basin. It always shows how to take out the motor subassembly but not the other. Does it simply rotate(screw off) just like the other motor? Also, does the sump basin have to come out to remove this motor or can I tip washer on its side and do it from there?
