This was a high-end model with touch panel and LCD on top of door, and status LCD at upper right.
I have been able to set the end-of-cycle signal to "O" and avoid that beeping. But there's no way I've found to stop it from beeping while I load it. It's the most annoying and useless sound, as if loading isn't enough for me to know the door is open.
Anyway, if I were to get the right screwdriver and open up the door, would it be easy to find a wire to snip that attaches to the speaker (or whatever sound producer it uses)? Is there any risk of ruining the machine by opening it. It's well past warranty.
