I moved into a house with a miele g575 dishwasher. It advnace through all the cycle properly but food particles remain and are getting dryed on the the dishes and cutlery. I have checked the water inlet and the drain which both appear to be free of blockage? Any ideas? Is this a good unit?

Is the water level up near the heating element, if so, open door while running and confirm washer spray arm is turning and spraying water all over. If not you have either a clogged pump or clogged spray arm.
If not full, drain washer and time the water fill, should be for more than 40 seconds. If not you have a bad timer or control module. If longer than 40 seconds and tub not full, you have a clogged screen in the water solenoid.

The water level is up to the element and I removed and checked the spray arms. How do I access those other areas to check them? Do I have to pull out the dishwasher?

No It is not!. The water pouring out from the top of the unit is missing the funnel that directs it to the top spray arm. The bottom one is not turning either! They both turn freely when I spin them though. What is wrong?

Simply click on your model # above and order the missing funnel. Make sure the base that it threads into is ok. Some are left hand thread and some are right.
