Dishwasher Repair

I have baled approx. 3 gallons from the bottom of the unit after the final cycle. Is there a command to activate the drain cycle only? Can you suggest a sequence to diagnose?

Hi David,

The first thing I would check is the air gap on top of the sink, if there is one. Remove the top piece and check the air gap for a clog. If there is no air gap then disconnect the drain hose from the garbage disposer, put this end of the hose in a bucket, start the cycle and see how it drains. Any cycle begins from drain. Post the results.

You can find how to cancel any cycle and initiate the drain in the Owners Manual.
