Having a slow/low fill problem. This is what I have done so far to repair:

1) Replaced the water shut off valve. I had a big chunk of solder in it when I took out the old one

2) Removed the water inlet valve. Cleaned it and replaced the diaphram in the piston.

3) Blew out debris from the shut off valve. Another big piece of solder was in the line

4) Blew out the plastic line from the water inlet to the tub. Nothing in there

5) Checked water pressure...Seems fine from the shut off valve to the water inlet

6) Also cleaned out debris from the chopper to insure no obstruction there.

Water fills for around 40 seconds. Nowhere near enough. If I add another pot full or two of water, upper spray arm rotates fine. If not, no rotation

Any idea? THe water inlet valve is suspect to me.

Thanks

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for KENMORE 66513732K600 | AppliancePartsPros.com

Your unit is a Whirlpool, I think the following will be a close match to it and may come in handy.

I would replace the water inlet valve as it is not that expensive and is the most likely cause.

The inlet valve was the problem...Thanks...Who would have thought that what began as the top arm of the dishwasher not spinning would have ended up to be a bad inlet valve at the bottom...
