Dishwasher won't fill on start, rinse works fine
 

The dishwasher won't fill on start. If I manually fill it, it runs through the wash cycle and then the rinse cycle works correctly. I assume the water inlet is the same for both wash and rinse, so the inlet valve should be fine. Suggestions onthe next step?
