Here is the parts breakdown
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL GU1200XTLQ2 UNDERCOUNTER DISHWASHER | AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is a service manual
https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/52521bdbd0ef763c85256cbc00520548/$FILE/8178022.pdf

Could be just crud etc in the pump, see the service manual on how to open it up and clean/check.

Could also be a low fill problem.
This can be checked by adding a couple quarts of hot water after each fill during a cycle.
Then if it quietes down low fill is probably the cause.
Usually the pump will be noisier with a low fill also be careful to not overfill the unit.

If you think it is low fill then remove the water inlet valve from the machine and check/clean the screen filter on the input side of the valve.

Do not permanently remove it from the valve as it is there to keep crud out which could hold the valve open and cause a flood.

Depending on the noise it may just be plugged spray arm holes causing the water to spray at a weird angle.

Is it filling OK?

If the pump's mechanical parts are OK then it could be that your pump motor bearings are on their last legs.

this was the problem with my kenmore/whirlpool washer. pulled the wash pump assembly and separated pump/motor from housing. the front motor bearing was shot. part of the brg housing of motor was eating away. it may have run awhile longer but replaced pump/motor (appliancepartspros) and were good for a few more years.
