Lid won't open on dishwasher
Model Number: DU930QWDQ6 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
The lid on the soap dispencer does not open and the soap does not come out. I purchesed a new spring and can't get it installed so that it opens during the cycle. Is there a trick to getting the spring to open the lid during cycle?

Does it pop up if you release the latch manually?
