Hi All!

Our machine has been out of warranty, for a month, and the wash cycle will not start!

The machine will fill, and then, it just sits there. When the cycle is "Canceled", the machine then drains.

On a whim, I decided to "re-boot" the machine (unplugged from the receptacle), and the "High Temp Wash" and "Heat Dry" lights flashed, until I hit "Cancel". I don't know if this means anything?!

Thanks is advance for your help, it's sincerely appreciated!

Remove the toe panel. Run the dishwasher to see if the wash pump motor works or makes any noise. Post the results.

Thanks Gene. I'm out the door this morning and should be back early this afternoon. My findings will be posted soon after!

I'm back, and while I was out, my wife called BestBuy. This is where we purchased the machine. It seems we'll be getting this repaired under warranty! With that said, I won't pull the kick plate off, in fear of voiding the warranty. Maybe I wouldn't leave any evidence, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I will return, after it's fixed, and post results.

Thanks for your help, Gene!

Well, BestBuy service was out, this afternoon. You hit the nail on the head, Gene. The motor is toast. They'll be back - to repair - free of charge.

Thanks again!

Greg

You are welcome Greg. It's good they are taking care of it. Otherwise it could be very costly.

Thank you for the feedback and good luck with your dishwasher.

Gene.
