I have a Frigidaire model number gpdb998jc1 that is about 10 years old. Dishes dont seem to get clean. Soap dispenser doesnt seem to get cleaned as well.
I cleaned out the drain and no obstructions or dirt.

A few months ago, I replaced the the water inlet valve. Not sure if that did anything.

As it goes through its normal wash cycle, I hear the water filling up the bottom of the tub. As it continues in the cycle, I dont hear the water spraying around the sides of the appliance. I hear the motor running but doesnt sound as quiet as it used to.

Any help would be appreciated!

Problem is usually caused by a low fill level or dirty pump filters etc.

Most units fill to just under the heating element.
If it looks low add a couple quarts of hot water after the fill, just be careful to not overfill it.
If it now runs OK then the screen filter on the input side of the water valve is probably dirty.
Remove the valve from the machine and clean the screen filter.
Do not permanently remove the filter as it is there to keep crud out of the valve, which could hold the valve open and cause a flood.

Open up and check the pump/filters.
