Dishwasher Repair

the lights on the control panel work with the exception of start/cancel and the cycle delay (2-4-6). the door latch was replaced two years ago, the ribbon appears to be fine and the reset sequence with turning off circuit breaker for one hour does not change anything. The plastic cover over Start/cancel is worn through and has been so for some time. I suspect either the circuit board or the touch panel. Which one of these is the prime suspect?

I replace a number of touch panels on these models.

Another question, what about the electrical connections to the door latch? If one or both have failed would I still have power to the panel?

thanks so much, I have installed the new touch panel as well as both switches at the door latch and no longer have dishpan hands.
